Viewing and Editing Subtotal Parts Markup Rate and Taxes

You can change the subtotal parts markup rate or taxes for a preliminary estimate or preliminary supplement.To change the subtotal parts markup rate for an estimate, open the workfile, select the Rates tab, select the Parts button, and select the estimate whose rates you want to change. Change the rates as you like. Change the taxes by checking or un-checking the boxes next to the tax categories.

To view and change the subtotal parts markup rate

1. Open the workfile.
2. Select the Rates tab, and then select the Parts tab.
3. Select Prelim. Estimate or Prelim. Supplement from the Estimate droplist.
4. Enter the subtotal parts markup rate in the Rate% field.

5. Check or uncheck the boxes next to each tax type for each charge category.
6. Select Save or Save and Close.
